Reviews and Ratings
Basin Harbor Club is a delightful spot with plenty of family-friendly activities and stunning views of the lake. The staff goes above and beyond to create a memorable experience, like arranging campfires and s'mores for us. However, the cottages could use some updates for the price, and the waterfront area needs more attention for cleanliness.
My stay at Basin Harbor had some high points, including the beautiful lakefront views and engaging family-friendly activities. However, the cottages were outdated, and I encountered service issues that left a lot to be desired. While the breakfast buffet was good, the overall dining experience didn't meet my expectations given the price. Overall, it was a mixed bag, and I think the resort needs to modernize its accommodations to truly match the cost.
My stay at Basin Harbor left me feeling quite disappointed, particularly with the cottage accommodations that did not match the expectations set by their online imagery. The experience of being charged for items that should have been complimentary added to the frustration. However, the natural beauty of the location remained a standout feature throughout our visit, despite the service hiccups we encountered.
Basin Harbor offers a picturesque setting with breathtaking views of Lake Champlain and a variety of outdoor activities. However, our cottage left much to be desired, resembling more of a rundown space than the luxury implied by the price. While some dining experiences were enjoyable, there were shortcomings in missing items from our orders. Overall, it's a place with potential, especially for larger gatherings, but it could use improvements in accommodations and dining consistency.
My experience at the resort was a mixed bag. On one hand, the natural surroundings offered incredible outdoor activities and a relaxing atmosphere to unwind. On the other hand, there were several maintenance issues that detracted from the experience. The dining options were limited, especially during the off-season, making it difficult to find convenient meals without planning ahead.
